CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin powder with improved dispersibility in water for various functional food and dietary supplement applications. Curcumin itself is not soluble in water and has low bioavailability. WACKER offers an excellent solution for increasing the bioavailability of hydrophobic health promoting ingredients like curcumin, by complexation with cyclodextrins. CAVACURMIN® is a non-covalent bonded adduct of natural curcumin and CAVAMAX® W8 gamma-cyclodextrin.

Ingredients:

  • Gamma-cyclodextrin (CAVAMAX® W8 Food, CAS 17465-86-0)
  • Oleoresin Turmeric (Curcumin) CAS 84775-52-0 comprised of Curcuminoids (curcumin CAS 458-37-7, demethoxycurcumin CAS 22608-11-3, bisdemethoxycurcumin CAS 33171-05-0)

Storage

Storage at room temperature in sealed containers under dry conditions is recommended. CAVACURMIN® Curcumin Complex has a shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacturing. Storage beyond the date specified does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
