SILPURAN® 2124 A/B can be used as a skin adhesive in medical applications.

Components A and B of SILPURAN® 2124 A/B are mixed homogeneously in a ratio A : B = 1 : 1 and vulcanize rapidly at temperatures over 100 °C.

SILPURAN® 2124 A/B has good adhesive properties that can be adjusted to suit the relevant requirements:

Increasing the proportion of component A results in a softer vulcanisate and increased tackiness. Increasing the proportion of component B results in a harder vulcanisate and reduced tackiness.

Important note:
The platinum catalyst is contained in component A.

Caution:
Only components A and B with the same lot number may be processed together!

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
