CRA® eco 17

CRA® eco 17 is an extremely efficient controlled release additive for adjusting the release force of solventless DEHESIVE® systems. It is based on renewable raw materials according to “Standard REDcert²”. In the CRA® eco 17 manufacturing process, the use of fossil-based raw materials is compensated 100% by biomethanol from renewable resources. CRA® eco 17 can be used to obtain the highest release values of all CRA® modifiers.

The required amount of CRA® eco 17 is added to the particular DEHESIVE ® product and the mixture is stirred until it is homogeneous. After addition of the crosslinker the catalyst is slowly added while stirring constantly. Avoid localized excess concentrations. CRA® eco 17 can be processed together with nearly all solventless DEHESIVE® products. It is miscible with them in all proportions. Mixtures of CRA® eco 17 and DEHESIVE® are ideal for the production of release paper and PSA-laminates. Suitable substrates include glassine, clay-coated or PE-coated papers. Because of the high efficiency and stable release characteristics of CRA® eco 17, the product is ideal for the production of double-sided release.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
