WACKER® NE 4720 is an anionic oil-in-water emulsion of a medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane. WACKER® NE 4720 is low viscous, can be easily diluted with water and is characterized by excellent wetting properties on different substrates.

Due to its composition and property profile, WACKER® NE 4720 can be used versatilely.
It is best suitable as universal release agent for the vulcanization of different types of rubber.
WACKER® NE 4720 does not cause stress crack corrosion in contact with acrylic glass or polycarbonates. Therefore it can be used especially as release and antiblocking agent for the manufacture of rubber profiles, e. g. weather strips, which get in contact with these materials.
Furthermore, the emulsion is suitable best for the formulation of paint and vinyl conditioners. The active agent contained supports an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness.

WACKER® NE 4720 has to be stirred well before use.

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
