WACKER® E 110

WACKER® E 110 is a nonionic macro emulsion of a nonreactive polydimethylsiloxane.

WACKER® E 110 is applied alone in aqueous dilution or combined with organic softeners for the treatment of fibres and textiels.
Before mixing with organic softeners, a compatibility test is recommended.
WACKER® E 110 is used as sewing thread lubricant for polyester yarns used on high-speed sewing machines in order to reduce the friction of fibers.

WACKER® E 110 can be applied either alone or together with resins and other finishing agents.
Higher crease recovery angles and lower abrasion values can be obtained in resin finishes by using WACKER® E 110. A wide range of touches can be obtained by combining WACKER® E 110 with conventional softening agents and other additives such as fillers based on polyacrylate.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.

 

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
