Ato Taylor Promoted to Vice President of Human Resources at Wacker Chemical Corporation

Taylor brings more than 15 years of human resources leadership experience to his new role with WACKER. Previously, Taylor joined Wacker Chemical Corporation in February 2024 as Senior Director of Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) for North and Central America (NCA). He led the NCA regional HRBP team and supported WACKER’s NCA operations. In his previous role, Taylor oversaw the NCA HRBP team and provided strategic HR leadership across the corporate functions and business divisions.

Taylor began his career in 2008 as part of Eaton Corporation’s HR leadership development program and advanced through roles of increasing responsibility at multiple locations. In 2016, he joined Tenneco, a US based OEM to the automotive industry, as HR Director for its North America Aftermarket Business and later served in roles with regional and global scope. Most recently, Taylor was HR Executive Director for Tenneco’s Powertrain Americas business.

Taylor holds a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s in political science.
