C-TOUCH EXHIBITION 2015: WACKER Presents UV Curing Silicones for Optical Bonding

VINNAPAS^® CEZ 3031 is a waterborne polymer dispersion based on vinyl acetate, ethylene and vinyl chloride and has a very low environ-mental impact. The dispersion is produced without the use of al-kylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs), plasticizers, film-forming agents or solvents. Furthermore, the product is low-odor and boasts a low for-maldehyde content (< 20 ppm). It also lends itself to paint formulations that have a low volatile-organic-compound content (VOC < 1 g/l), and thus meets major international environmental and safety standards, such as the EU Ecolabel and Blue Angel.

VINNAPAS^® CEZ 3031 is a general-purpose binder for paints and plasters used both indoors and outdoors. It provides high color con-sistency, good pigment compatibility, high saponification resistance and good compatibility with silicates. It is very easy to process and offers enhanced rheology. VINNAPAS^® CEZ 3031 dries quickly, but still possesses high binding power and abrasion resistance.

Compared to traditional styrene-acrylate-based products, paints and plasters formulated with the new dispersion VINNAPAS^® CEZ 3031 are less combustible and burn more slowly. In accordance with B1 fire retardant standards (DIN 4102), it is therefore ideal for plasters and embedding coats for external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).
