In the absence of moisture POWERSIL® 590 remains liquid for a long time. Thus the generation of voids is prevented.
POWERSIL® 590 is preferably applied by casting.
Material cures under the influence of moisture. Make sure that the shell does not contain any water before casting. Keep container tightly closed until usage.
The shelf life of POWERSIL® 590 is up to 24 months when stored between 0 °C and 35 °C in the originally sealed container. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch appears on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked.
