ELASTOSIL® LR 6294 A/B

ELASTOSIL® LR 6294 A/B Liquid Silicone Rubber is a two-component, solventless liquid silicone rubber system that cures rapidly upon heating to a tough silicone rubber. It has been formulated primarily as a high strength, moderate viscosity liquid rubber for fabric coating.

Cure is accomplished by simply mixing equal parts (1:1) by weight of part A and part B. Oven cure at 150 C-200°C (302 F-392°F) for one to six minutes depending on oven, coating thickness and type of fabric used. Curing may be retarded and prevented by nitrogen compounds such as amines and amides, sulfur compounds, anti-aging additives and other additives in rubbers and plastics. Therefore, a materials compatibility test is always recommended.

Storage

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
