SILRES® BS 333
SILRES® BS 333 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane.

SILRES® BS 333 is used in undiluted form as an additive for aqueous indoor paints or coatings in order to improve the workability. In indoor paints SILRES® BS 333 positively influences the wetting and leveling properties which leads to a very even and smooth coating. Especially on surfaces with sidelight applications without visible overlap are possible. Because of hydrophobation of the first coat the open time of the second coat is extended. Therefore the application is mendable well. Furthermore the antiblocking properties of the paint are improved. The use of SILRES® BS 333 also causes a considerable increase regarding the contact angle of the final coating.
SILRES® BS 333 can be added in undiluted form to aqueous indoor paints or coatings during or after their production. The addition of 1-3 wt.-% is recommended. The product should be stirred well before use.
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
