BELSIL® ADM 8301 E

BELSIL® ADM 8301 E is a film-forming, nonionic microemulsion of an aminofunctional polydimethylsiloxane. 


  • INCI Amodimethicone/Morpholinomethyl Silsesquioxane Copolymer, Trideceth-5, Glycerin

Properties

BELSIL® ADM 8301 E is a highly efficient conditioning agent in hair care applications. Upon drying, it forms a protective, elastic sheath around the hair fiber. BELSIL® ADM 8301 E restores the natural hydrophobic hair surface, thus supporting to reduce color fade of colored hair and protecting hair during heat treatments. The emulsion provides a soft, silky touch and strongly reduces dry and wet combing forces.

BELSIL® ADM 8301 E is especially suitable for rinse-off conditioners, hair treatments, masks, pump sprays, conditioning shampoos or styling applications like mousses. In shampoos, BELSIL® ADM 8301 E allows the formulation of transparent products. 

 

Processing: 

  • Recommended use levels of BELSIL® ADM 8301 E in conditioner, treatment and mask formulations are 2,5 % to 10,0 %.
  • Recommended use levels of BELSIL® ADM 8301 E in shampoo formulations are 1,0 % to 4,0 %. For formulation of transparent shampoos, it is recommended to pre-dilute the emulsion with water in a ration of 1:5 to 1:10 before addition to the shampoo base.
  • The micro emulsion should be formulated at temperatures below 35 °C.
  • The emulsion needs to be stirred well before use.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
