Tufted Broadloom Carpet

In tufted broadloom carpet, VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) polymer dispersions are used in precoats and secondary coatings. VINNAPAS® vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) polymer dispersions provide effective adhesion between the different layers. When used in the primary coating (precoat), VINNAPAS® products provide the strength to lock the tufts of yarn in place (tuftbind). In the secondary coating, they ensure dimensional stability by bonding the secondary backing to the carpet.
