ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/20 MH
HTV silicone rubbers of the grade ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/20 MH are oil-bleeding one-component platinum-curing compounds for the manufacture of molded articles. The vulcanizates form a thin oil film with lubricationg properties shortly after the curing process. As the crosslinking system is based on platinum cure no peroxide decomposition products can be formed during curing.
ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/20 MH is a fast curing silicone rubber exhibiting excellent cut resistance. Thanks to addition cure, the vulcanization reaction is significantly faster compared to peroxide curing materials. No peroxide decomposition products are formed during vulcanization.
The addition of heat stabilizers at service temperatures of more than 180 °C is recommended.

ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/20 MH的特殊性能
ELASTOSIL® R plus 4806/20 MH is suitable for the manufacture of molded articles like multi cavity seals for technical applications. Specially thick walled articles can take advantage of this fast curing material.
This material can be processed on conventional silicone rubber injection molding equipment. Caution, danger of de- activation! The platinum catalyst can be de-activated already by amines or sulphur components in the air.

This product is available in 20 kg cardboard packaging.
Once opened, cardboard boxes should always be resealed after use to prevent the platinum catalyst from being poisoned by amines, sulphur or phosphorus compounds. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
