WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is a reactive aminoethyl-aminopropylfunctional polydimethylsiloxane with a reduced level of cyclic siloxanes. It is based on renewable raw materials according to “TÜV NORD Standard REDcert²”. In the WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV manufacturing process from metallurgical silicon, the use of fossil-based raw materials is compensated 100% by biomethanol from renewable resources.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is particularly suitable as active substance in softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV imparts a very soft, drapable, and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is considered to be the best softening agent for PES/cotton fabrics.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV has only little effect on the degree of whiteness in a softener formulation. As a rule no adverse effect on the shade or color fastness properties of coloured goods is observed.
As part of formulations used as fill fiber finish WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV imparts excellent slickness and resilience to the fiber.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV can be applied neat, from solution, or emulsion. Suitable solvents are aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, higher alcohols, and ketones.
Most textile processes are waterbased. Hence WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is mainly applied from emulsion. WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is suitable for the formulation of microemulsions and macroemulsions.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV can be used as sole active substance in softener emulsions or in combination with other components, e.g. paraffines, esters of fatty acids, etc. Compatability of the components has to be checked in each individual case.
Emulsions of WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV are diluted to the optimum concentration for the specific fabric. Application can be done by padding or exhaustion.
WACKER® FINISH eco WR 1100 LV is supplied as follows:
- 0.9 kg sample
- 190 kg drum
- 950 kg IBC
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
