LIOSIL® FC 204 E
LIOSIL® FC 204 E is a composition containing a selfdispersing aminofunctional silicone fluid, especially for fabric softeners.

LIOSIL® FC 204 E is combined with conventional fabric softeners and improves their properties.
LIOSIL® FC 204 E is easy to mix with fabric softeners.
It improves their softening efficacy, making the fabrics significantly softer and more pleasant to the touch.
Additionally, LIOSIL® FC 204 E reduces the frictional forces of the iron, thereby making the fabrics significantly easier to iron.
LIOSIL® FC 204 E is preferably mixed well with the softener agent at the start of fabric softener its production.
Example of fabric softener preparation with LIOSIL® FC 204 E
- To 20.0 parts esterquat, e.g. Stepantex VK 90 (50°C),
- add 4 parts LIOSIL® FC 204 E and mix well;
- slowly add 75.6 parts demineralized water (50°C) with stirring until the mixture is homogenous;
- add 0.4 parts CaCl2 solution (25%);
- add q.s. perfume, dye and preservative;
Dosage recommendation: Approx. 3 - 6 % in the fabric softener formulation;
The dosage of LIOSIL® FC 204 E in the fabric softener depends on the desired effects. If preferred, the quantity of organic softener can be reduced as the amount of LIOSIL® FC 204 E is increased.
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
