VINNACEL® 144

VINNACEL® 144 is a is a multi-purpose dispersible polymer powder specifically suited for One Component, Rigid Waterproofing Membrane.

It is based on a flexible copolymer of vinylacetate and ethylene and styrene acrylic which means that it has a good workability, good open time and offers an excellente adhesion strength. VINNACEL® 144 is part of customized range, offering you the best-in-class solution for a wide variety of applications.


特性

VINNACEL® 144 does not change the rheological properties of the dry-mix mortar and is a product in the low range of Tg. VINNACEL® 144 is specially indicated to One Component, Rigid Waterproofing Membrane, with low volatile emissions, high adhesion strength. VINNACEL® 144 , when used under the correct dosage in the One Component, Rigid Waterproofing Membrane formulation, offers the right positive water pressure strength. We remind you that One Component, Rigid Waterproofing Membrane does not offer negative water pressure strength.

 

In order to produce dry-mix mortars, like the One Component Waterproofing Membrane, mix VINNACEL® 144 with the other components in an appropriate mixer. Do not allow the admixture temperature during mixing to raise dramatically. This can lead to irreversible degradation of VINNACEL® 144.

The dry-mix mortar prepared with VINNACEL® 144 should be mixed with water only in the job site, preferably using a mechanical equipment. If only manual mixing is available, we recommend a 5 minutes slaking time and after this period a second manual mixing.

For One Component Waterproofing Membrane we recommend always to pour the powder over water and never the opposite.

储存

During storage, protect the product from contact with moisture. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 30 °C, especially in combination with pressure, humidity or exposure to sunlight, may result in blocking. Carefully seal any open containers and store them under suitable conditions. We recommend storing the product in a warehouse that provides cool and dry conditions. Do not store the product for more than six months, starting from the date at which it was received, unless the Certificate of Analysis contains a different date, which would take precedence. If the product is stored longer than recommended, it may still be used but users are advised to verify the properties required for the intended use.
