ELASTOSIL® P 7700 A/B

Two-component, addition-curing silicone composition curing to a soft, tacky silicone adhesive gel


Eigenschaften

ELASTOSIL® P 7700 A/B has excellent properties for use as a soft silicone skin adhesive. Key attributes include:

  • Very good adhesion
  • Pourable
  • Non-irritating and non-sensitizing
  • Easy metering

ELASTOSIL® P 7700 A/B is intended to be used as a soft silicone skin adhesive. It is especially suitable for bonding external mammary prostheses to unbroken, healthy skin.

Components A and B of ELASTOSIL® P 7700 A/B are homogeneously mixed in an A to B ratio of 1:1 and vulcanized rapidly at temperatures over 100°C. Increasing the proportion of A component makes the cured rubber softer and increases its adhesive strength. Increasing the B component makes the cured rubber harder and lowers its adhesive strength. Important note: The platinum catalyst is in component A. Caution! A and B components may only be used together if they have the same batch number.

Lagerung

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
