SIPELL® RE 55 M is a nonaqueous silicone-based water repellent with incorporated catalyst.

SIPELL® RE 55 M is a highly efficient silicone-based water repellent for leather with incorporated catalyst. The product can be diluted with aprotic organic solvents like ketones, hydrocarbones etc. It is suitable for the post-treatment of leather goods, safety cloths and sports shoes.

Processing:
SIPELL® RE 55 M should be diluted with aprotic solvents to a concentration of 5-10%. Water containing solvents and alcoholes need to be avoided, in order to prevent deactivation of the catalyst.
Appropriate solvents are e. g. white spirit, aromatic hydrocarbons, esters or ketones. Impregnation of the leather is made by spraying, padding or brushing.
The impregnation effect appears after evaporation of the solvent. Full effectiveness is achieved after some days.
SIPELL® RE 55 M should not be used in impregnation sprays as the exposition to aerosol may have hazardous effects.

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
