WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR is an aminofunctional polydimethylsiloxane.

WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR is ideal for use on hydrophilic finishes without causing yellowing.
WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR provides a feeling of comfort due to its moisture-absorbing property, provides a soft touch and trim to flat fabrics and knitwear. It is also indicated for non-wovens and felpas.

WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR is an excellent asset in hydrophilic softeners for finishing all types of fibers and fabrics.
When applied under normal conditions as part of a softener formulation, WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR has no effect on white. In fact, it does not noticeably influence the color or solidity of colors in general.
The WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR emulsion can be applied by fourlard or depletion and can be used pure or in combination with organic softeners, polyetiliene waxes, and other finishing agents.
Individual tests to ensure compatibility should be performed in advance.
WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR can be applied both pure and in solution or emulsion, however, it is more used in emulsion form. Appropriate solvents include aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, heavy alcohols, esters and ketonas.
For larger dilution cranes, or if the formulation contains other active substances, it is necessary to test storage and stability compatibility.
We recommend using a tank with sweep and high shear agitator. The temperature should be maintained between 15 and 30°C. Add the WACKER® FINISH AF 1006 BR and mulgadores, shake until complete homogenization. The addition of water should be slow and made in porries, with constant homogenization. Add triethalonamine to the end by adjusting the pH for (5.0 – 5.5).

Storage
The "Best use before end" date of each batch is shown on the product label. Emulsions showing signs of creaming should be agitated before use to assure uniform consistency. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
