BELSIL® eco DM 5
BELSIL® eco DM 5 is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane, based on renewable raw materials according to “TÜV NORD Standard REDcert²”. BELSIL® eco DM 5 is characterized by low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient. Due to their flexible polymer backbone, dimethicones have high permeability to gases (e.g. water vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin.

BELSIL® eco DM 5 is widely used in a highly varied range of personal-care formulations. Formulations with BELSIL® eco DM 5 have better spreading properties and can be easily distributed on the skin. In these formulations, it imparts a hydrophobic, protective but breathable barrier to the skin, simultaneously minimizing stickiness. It reduces whitening and imparts a soft emolliency to the skin.

Further information for storage: Store in a dry and cool place. Maximum temperature allowed during storage and transportation: 40 °C
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons
