In order to further improve local customer service, WACKER opened a technical center for silicone applications at the Jandira site in 2003. Service labs for dispersible polymer powders followed in 2005. In April 2013, WACKER has expanded its technical center in Brazil, including the training center WACKER ACADEMY, by a factor of more than three.
The Technical Center supports the rapidly growing markets for high quality Polymers and Silicone business in South America. Since 2003 laboratories for the silicone business have been opened and equipped, serving multiple market segments. In 2005 followed the expansion focused on polymer binder lab, which are primarily used in construction applications, and in 2020 the construction laboratory has been accredited by CGCRE of INMETRO in ABNT NBR ISO / IEC 17025:2017 for tile adhesive applications. Our experts put their extensive knowledge and test methods to work for you, developing value-adding products and formulations for various applications.
