Strain Development & Cell Banking

With over 30 years of experience in the production and optimization of microbial expression systems, we are able to efficiently prepare production strains in our laboratories during the development phase of GMP-compliant production, as well as to make selective genetic and physiological modifications to the culture to optimize its expression efficiency.

Cell Banking

In conjunction with our process development and GMP manufacturing service, we offer GMP manufacturing and storage services for cell banks. In our dedicated cell bank suite, we produce Master Cell Banks and Working Cell Banks, including analytical testing and QA release in-house.

Our storage capabilities in vapor phase of liquid nitrogen are located in Jena and Halle (Germany) and San Diego (USA). Storage capabilities at -80°C are available in Jena, Halle (Germany) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

Please note that we do not offer cell banking as a stand-alone service.
