WACKER Presents Autonomous-Sensor Thermal Interface Material at InterBattery 2025
WACKER, the global chemical company headquartered in Munich, Germany, will unveil its groundbreaking silicone thermal interface material for autonomous vehicle sensors at InterBattery 2025 (March 5–7, COEX Seoul).
Technical Manager of Wacker for Electronics is verifying the high-performance thermal silicone dispensing process.
As Korea’s largest battery exhibition (hosted by MOTIE and KBIA), the event marks the debut of WACKER’s 7W/m·K+ thermal conductivity material, which enables single-step mass dispensing while preventing thermal runaway in EV batteries and high-density electronics.
Innovation Highlights area as below. Autonomous Sensor Solution: First silicone thermal material optimized for LiDAR/radar sensors in self-driving vehicles. Process Efficiency: Eliminates repetitive dispensing steps with high-yield application technology. Safety Critical: Mitigates fire risks in next-gen EVs and IT components through superior heat dissipation.
