WACKER Participates in Ulsan Job Fair 2025 – Securing Local Talent
WACKER, the global chemical company headquartered in Munich, Germany, will participate in the 2025 Ulsan Job Fair at Dongcheon Gymnasium on June 18.

Co-hosted by Ulsan Metropolitan City, Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, Ulsan Regional SMEs and Startups Agency, and district offices, and organized by Ulsan Economic & Job Development Agency, Korea International Trade Association (Ulsan Branch), and Korea Scholarship Foundation, the event will feature 21 employment agencies and over 100 companies offering recruitment services, career counseling, resume photo sessions, and labor consultations.
WACKER has operated a polymer production site in Ulsan since 2008 and continues to invest in the region, which serves as a strategic manufacturing hub for its Asian market. Participation in the fair aligns with its goal to strengthen Ulsan’s competitiveness by attracting top talent.
At the event, WACKER will host a recruitment booth to introduce: Company overview, hiring processes, Job position details, HR representatives will provide one-on-one consultations about roles across departments and career paths.

WACKER Korea implements progressive policies, including flexible "half-half" leave (2-hour increments), child education and preschool subsidies
Maternity congratulatory benefits, first-birthday bonuses, parental leave support (including for male employees). Also, this year, it expanded support to postpartum care, family health checks, and counseling. These efforts earned recognition in 2024: Encouragement Prize at the Ministry of Employment’s Work-Life Balance Awards and Family-Friendly Company Certification by the Ministry of Gender Equality.
WACKER is the world’s top producer of VAE (vinyl acetate ethylene) dispersions and construction polymer powders—key materials for high-performance, eco-friendly building solutions. Approximately 80% of output from Ulsan’s site was exported in 2024, driven by Asia’s growing demand.
