In 1999, we laid the foundation for our long-term presence in the Middle East and Africa.
Technical Center for Construction Applications
In 2001, we inaugurated our first Technical Center dedicated to construction applications, marking a significant step forward in innovation. This center paved the way for subsequent Technical Centers focused on paints and coatings, elastomers, and adhesives.

Inauguration of WACKER ACADEMY in the MEA region
2008 saw the launch of the WACKER ACADEMY in our region, creating a platform for training and knowledge sharing. Since then, the ACADEMY has played a key role in fostering cooperation and sharing expertise.

Our product innovations facilitate the thin-bed method for tile adhesive applications, streamlining resource use and reducing the carbon footprint. At the same time, we are advancing the External Thermal Insulation System, which is now a standard solution in the region and demonstrates an impressive 60% reduction in cooling energy consumption. This not only improves living conditions, but also makes significant strides in reducing the overall carbon footprint. Together, these breakthroughs exemplify our continued commitment to driving change through environmentally conscious and sustainable solutions.
