WACKER to raise prices for resins, dispersions, and dispersible polymer powders

  • WACKER will increase prices by up to 15 percent due to rising costs for raw materials and logistics
  • Products sourced from sites in Europe and the USA are affected
  • Price adjustments will be effective June 1, 2026

Effective June 1, 2026, or as customer contracts allow, the WACKER Group is to raise its prices for resins, dispersions, and dispersible polymer powders sourced from its production sites in Europe and the USA. Prices for these products will be increased by up to 15 percent. The price adjustments will enable WACKER’s Polymers division to continue providing customers with high product quality, technological innovations, best-in-class customer service and technical support, along with supporting investment to secure the capability for future growth across focus markets.

The pricing measure has been necessitated by rising costs for raw materials and logistics. The recent conflict in the Middle East has led to significant distortions in commodity markets worldwide. Consequently, prices for energy, raw materials and logistics have significantly risen. WACKER’s global polymers business is especially affected by this development.

About WACKER’s Polymers business

The Polymers division is a leading producer of state-of-the-art binders and polymeric additives based on polyvinyl acetate and vinyl acetate copolymers and terpolymers. These take the form of dispersible polymer powders, dispersions, solid resins, and solutions. They are used in construction chemicals, paints, surface coatings, adhesives and nonwovens, as well as in fiber composites and polymeric materials based on renewable resources. The division’s focus is on tomorrow’s sustainable construction market, where its products are making a significant contribution.
