Our management trainee program offers you intensive and comprehensive preparation for a job at WACKER. You will learn about a global chemical business from various perspectives within your future professional field. From the start, you will be actively involved and will gain experience across all relevant functional areas. And we show you development prospects that await you in the future.
We compile an individual program for each and every management trainee, taking into account their personal interests and strengths. Assignments abroad and at our sites in Germany are included in the program. We expect you to be both flexible and mobile. You actively contribute to WACKER's global development while also building a company-wide network.
Finding and developing talent
The 18-month trainee program is designed to identify and develop talent. It takes into account your qualifications and strengths as well as the skills required for future tasks.
Your individual training is rounded out with specific expert and interdisciplinary advanced training courses from the WACKER training program comprising a variety of seminars on professional, management, personality and social skills.
We can offer you options in several fields
The trainee program is oriented toward graduates with excellent grades in engineering or natural sciences, ideally complemented with an MBA or doctorate. We are looking for candidates in the following (or related) fields:
- Electrical engineering
- Process engineering / chemical engineering / bioengineering
- Mechanical engineering
In addition to outstanding academic performance, you have also gained practical experience and have spent some time abroad, either in a study program or an internship. Excellent language skills in English and German are essential for work placements in Germany and abroad. Furthermore, you have exceptional communication skills, can hold presentations with confidence and are highly flexible and mobile. Your resumé should ideally include leadership activities and social commitment.
