WACKER® E 3166
WACKER® E 3166 is a nonionic formulated oil-in-water emulsion of an alkylfunctional polysiloxane.
WACKER® E 3166 can be used for the formulation of release agents for the thermal molding of rubber, plastics, and low-melting non-ferrous metals.
The in WACKER® E 3166 modified silicone oil combines the advantages of silicone oils and mineral oils. It is particularly recommended for release processes in which the demolded parts must subsequently be painted, printed, coated or bonded.
The use of a special, non-ionic emulsifier system facilitates the combination of WACKER® E 3166 with emulsions of other formulation components.
Furthermore, WACKER® E 3166 can be easily diluted with water at any time and demonstrates good storage stability even in diluted form.
In any case, however, we recommend conducting compatibility and stability tests.
WACKER® E 3166 has to be stirred well before use.
