ELASTOSIL® R plus 4061/60 MH 9005
ELASTOSIL® R plus 4061/60 MH 9005 is an addition-cure, one-component fast curing high consistency silicone rubber with improved demoldability for the manufacture of molded articles. Cured articles exhibit high elasticity, low compression set and improved heat resistance.
ELASTOSIL® R plus 4061/60 MH 9005 is a very fast curing silicone rubber exhibiting very good mechanical properties. Thanks to addition cure, the vulcanization reaction is significantly faster compared to peroxide curing materials. No peroxide decomposition products are formed during vulcanization.
ELASTOSIL® R plus 4061/60 MH 9005 provides higher modulus and improved compression set in comparison with other platinum curing grades (e.g. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/60 MH). ELASTOSIL® R plus 4061/60 MH 9005 contains a black heat stabilizer and therefore provides a very good heat resistance.

The platinum catalyst can be deactivated by e.g. amines or sulfur compounds.

This product is available in 20 kg and 540 kg cardboard packaging.
Special delivery forms are possible but depend on several technical and commercial aspects. Please contact your local sales manager in such cases.
Please store the cardboard boxes in a dry and cool place. Once opened, cardboard boxes should always be resealed after use to prevent the platinum catalyst from being poisoned by amines, sulphur or phosphorus compounds. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
