ELASTOSIL® M 4140 US A/B is designed for vacuum casting for rapid prototyping especially suitable if crystal clear resins are used. ELASTOSIL® M 4140 US A/B has excellent resistance to casting resins. It is perfectly suitable for molds with slight undercuts and an essential need to retain a ridge mold.
Component A contains the platinum catalyst and Component B the crosslinker. The Additions systems are sold as matched sets. A and B lot numbers should match.

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
