ELASTOSIL® E60 is a flowable one-component acetoxy-cure silicone rubber, which cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture.

ELASTOSIL® E60 is a high temperature resistant grade for coating, use e.g. as coating for baking trays.
The ingredients of ELASTOSIL® E60 are compliant with the positive list of Recommendation XV. Silicones, III. Elastomers of the BfR, provided that any residual solvent has been completely removed from the coated object before use and the amount of volatile and extractable constituents has been reduced to less than 0.5 weight-% by appropriate curing and heat treatment methods. Besides, the manufacturer of the coated article has to ensure that the coating is suitable for the intended use and does not change the taste or smell of food. The product ELASTOSIL® E60 does not correspond to statutory regulations pertaining to food according to FDA.
ELASTOSIL® E60 shows good primerless adhesion to many substrates. We recommend running preliminary tests to optimize conditions for the particular application.

Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
