WACKER® E35 100

WACKER® E35 100 is a 35% emulsion of medium viscosity Polydimethylsiloxane. It is primarily designed for use in applications for mold release, furniture polish, textile finishing, and other specialty formulations. WACKER® E35 100 contains sodium nitrite as a corrosion inhibitor. WACKER® E35 100 should not be used in contact with amines.

In mold release applications, WACKER® E35 100 is normally diluted to 0.5% - 2.5%. A suitable preservative should be incorporated into all water-based formulations to help retard the growth of bacteria. In a polish or specialty product formulation, WACKER® E35 100 is normally used in its concentrated form. Optimal performance in polish applications is usually achieved by blending WACKER® E35 100 with another emulsion is in the Wacker® E35 series to get a combination of properties. Normally, a higher viscosity type silicone will give high gloss and durability, while the lower viscosity emulsions are easier to apply and rubout.

 

 

 

Storage

The "Best use before end date" of each batch is shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Storage beyond the date specified on the Certificate of Analysis does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
