Properties

PULPSIL® 956 S is characterized by:

 

  • low surface tension
  • good wetting properties
  • high chemical resistance
  • good water solubility

 

 

General application details:

PULPSIL® 956 Scan be easily diluted with water. We recommend starting with PULPSIL® 956 Sand then adding water while stirring continuously.

 

Additional application details:

PULPSIL® 956 S or its concentrate can be used as a digister additive for the pulp delignification process.

PULPSIL® 956 S improves the yield of pulp and reduces the amount of rejected material and lowers significantly the kappa-number.


For best efficiency, it is recommendet to apply PULPSIL® 956 S at the beginning of the Kraft coocking process. Typical concentrations are 0,08% based on  solids with liquid to wood ratios of 4.1 to 1 (for birch) and 5.3 to 1 ( for pine)

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
