LIOSIL® TS 533
LIOSIL® TS 533 is an aqueous solution of a functional silicone fluid that was developed specially as a softener for the tissue industry.
Owing to its special structure and orientation on cellulose fibers, LIOSIL® TS 533 is characterized by a good soft hand and an excellent hydrophilicity.

The product amount should be tailored to the particular tissue being used. Typically the amount of product applied on the tissue is in the range from 1 and 5 g/m². For the application of LIOSIL® TS 533 common technologies like roll coating, slot coating, spraying, or rotor damping systems are recommended. Aerosol formation has to be avoided. In case of aerosol formation special protective measures are required (see material safety data sheet).
The use of the solution is recommended for all conventional tissue types such as toilet paper, facial tissue, handkerchiefs or cosmetic wipes, which may benefit from a certain soft feel. The emulsion can be combined with other organic softeners or well-being additives, too, provided an adequate compatibility test has been performed. If substantial foaming occurs during processing, we recommend our WACKER SILFOAM® antifoam agents.
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
