Silicone Resins
WACKER® TPR is a reaction product of silicone resin with silicone fluids, which forms water-repellent release films. These films have much better affinity than is attainable with polydimethylsiloxanes and many organomodified silicone fluids of comparable viscosity.

WACKER® TPR can be used as a component in polish and release agent formulations. In polishes, WACKER® TPR is used in paint conditioners and paint polishes to improve detergent resistance, depth of image, and gloss without affecting the ease of rub out.


WACKER® TPR combines the positive properties of silicone fluids and silicone resins. Release agents, e.g. for the processing of microcellular PUR foams, which are formulated with WACKER® TPR, exhibit high release efficiency and satisfactory overpainting and bonding features.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
