SILFOAM® eco SE 2060
SILFOAM® eco SE 2060, which contains 15 % active ingredient and 25 % solids, is a versatile antifoam that is comparatively rich in emulsifier and that can be easily metered due to its low viscosity, based on renewable raw materials according to TÜV NORD Standard REDcert².
Since it also possesses resistance to alkalis and acids, it may further be used in a wide range of applications in which pH is critical.
Properties
SILFOAM® eco SE 2060 complies with US FIFRA regulations 40 CFR § 180.920 and can be applied for pre-harvest pesticide formulations. National regulations applicable in the countries concerned must be observed.

Application
SILFOAM® eco SE 2060 shows a very good foam control performance in formulations rich in surfactants.
Processing
The typical dosage is in the range of 0.05 to 0.5 % and is best determined by preliminary tests.
After extended storage or if visible separation occurs, we recommend briefly stirring the product.
As a guideline, we suggest a stirring time of 10–30 minutes at a speed of 200 rpm.
Excessive shear should be avoided, as high shear forces may cause the emulsion to break.

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
