Properties

ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R is an additive in paste form which improves the reversion resistance of solid silicone rubber compounds. ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R also prevents the blooming of decomposition products from ELASTOSIL® AUX Crosslinker E in non-post-cured extrusion products. ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R also affects positively the oil-resistance, especially against acidic mineral oils.

ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R can be easily incorporated into solid silicone rubber for extrusion or molding.

ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R is incorporated into solid silicone rubber compound before the addition of the crosslinker on an open mill.

The recommended concentration is 1 phr.

 

ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R is compatible with other additives, peroxidic crosslinkers and addition-curing agents. For the application in coloured compounds the specific beige colour of ELASTOSIL® AUX STABILIZER R has to be considered.

Packaging

This product is available in 20 kg pail and 250 kg drum kits.

Storage

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
