ELASTOSIL® P 7742 A/B
The addition-crosslinking silicone rubber cures to a very soft, translucent gel.

The gel is used for making soft pads for various uses such as; external mammary prosthesis, with an outer skin of polyurethane film.
A and B are mixed in a 1:1 ratio, air bubbles have to be taken out by evacuation. The mixture is filled into PU-films. After closing the films` filling holes, the gel is cured at temperatures of 148 °C / 15 min and demolded once it has cooled down.
Lagerung
ELASTOSIL® P 7742 A/B has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored betw een 10°C and 30°C in the tightly closed original container. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch appears on the product label.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case how ever, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
