$CAVAMAX<sup>®</sup> W8/RETINOL-COMPLEX


CAVAMAX® W8 / Retinol Complex is an inclusion complex of Retinol with pharmaceutical grade gamma-cyclodextrin. It is produced by Wacker Chemie AG. Retinol is well known to reduce wrinkles and helps restore UV-damaged tissue. However, Retinol itself is inherently unstable. In this new product the critical positions of the retinol molecule are protected by the cavity of gamma-cyclodextrin. Retinol W8 is designed for use in skin care products and can be formulated in emulsion products.


Ingredients: CAVAMAX® W8 pharmaceutical grade (gamma-Cyclodextrin, CAS no 17465-86-0) Retinol (CAS no 68-26-8)

Units of 1 kg, 5 kg (5x1 kg), 10 kg (10x1 kg)

Storage


Storage at 5°C in sealed containers under dry conditions is recommended.
CAVAMAX® W8/RETINOL-COMPLEX has a shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture.
Storage beyond the date specified does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
