ELASTOSIL® AUX MOULD RELEASE AGENT 32 is an auxiliary that helps to improve demolding of tools for injection and compression molding. ELASTOSIL® AUX MOULD RELEASE AGENT 32 should especially be applied when using new molds to reduce the initial deforming forces.
To obtain a good release effect, an aqueous solution of 0.1 – 1 % of ELASTOSIL® AUX MOULD RELEASE AGENT 32 in water is sprayed on the hot mold. As an alternative a 1 – 2 % solution is applied to the hot mold with a brush.
For new molds the following procedure is recommended: Treatment of the new mold with ELASTOSIL® AUX MOULD RELEASE AGENT 32 should be repeated every 2 – 3 injection cycles. After 20 cycles the mold should have excellent demolding properties without further application of the release agent.
Extensive application of ELASTOSIL® AUX MOULD RELEASE AGENT 32 could lead to an impairment of the demolding properties of the mold and should therefore be avoided.

This product is available in 1 kg bottles and 5 kg pails.
Storage
The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
