Amanda Andrews

Amanda joined WACKER in 2011 as a chemist in the Construction Chemicals business team, having previously worked at ICI Paint, Flint Ink, Akzo Nobel and BASF. She holds an MS in Materials and Chemical Synthesis from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BSc in Polymers and Coatings Technology from Eastern Michigan University. She is currently the technical manager for the Decorative Coatings, Anti-stain and Enhancers market segment.

Dr. Daniel Calimente

After working with PPG Industries and BASF Corporation, Dr. Daniel Calimente joined WACKER in 2011 as a technical manager. He is currently the technical marketing manager for Industrial Coatings and Plastics. He has also been involved in other market segments such as Oil & Gas. Daniel attended Wayne State University, where he received his PhD in Organic Chemistry and also completed a postdoctoral fellowship.

Victoria Eshoo

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Chemistry degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She joined WACKER in 2017 as a chemist in the Decorative Coatings Group. She brings over 20 years of experience in formulating coatings, including solvent- and water-based systems as decorative and functional coatings serving conventional architectural, elastomer, electrical conductive and roofing markets. Her prior employers include Valspar / Sherwin-Williams, Quest Construction Products (now part of GAF) and Sto Corp.

Sienna Gerdeman

Sienna is a chemist for the Personal Care market segment. She is responsible for formulating personal care prototypes, as well as for application testing and providing technical support to customers in North America. Sienna holds a BSPS in Cosmetic Science and Formulation Designs, with minors in Chemistry and Business Administration, from the University of Toledo.

Chelsea Grimm

Starting at WACKER in 2015 after working at Ashland Chemical for seven years, Chelsea is currently a chemist in the Personal Care market segment. She provides technical support to customers, production and sales managers, formulates products and prototypes for the personal care industry and does application testing for hair, skin and color cosmetics. Chelsea attended Marshall University in West Virginia, where she received a BS in Chemistry.

Dr. Linrong Gu

Lingrong (Linna) joined WACKER right after completing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Clemson University in South Carolina. She is the technical manager in the SPI business team responsible for developing new defoaming and anti-foam products for various industries. Linna also holds an MS in Polymer Chemistry and Physics and a BS in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in China.

Armelle Henley

Christine Klingler

Christine, a chemist in the Release Coatings team, joined WACKER in 2012. She is responsible for technical customer support and product development. Christine holds a BS in Biology from Hillsdale College. Before joining WACKER, she spent five years at Dow Chemical working as a manufacturing and process support analytical chemist.

Dr. Yu-Chin Li

Dr. Yu-Chin (Angel) Li holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as both a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Chemistry from National Taiwan University. After working for 3 years as a research associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, she worked at Preferred Sand as a research scientist and then an R&D manager. Angel joined WACKER in 2019 and is currently the technical manager in the Fumed Silica business team responsible for technical support of fumed silica and leading the applications laboratory in Charleston, Tennessee.

Dan Mania

Dan is the senior applications chemist for Sealants and Adhesives responsible for developing formulations and applications with both SMP hybrids and RTV-1 silicones. He has also worked in the Polymers division at WACKER, is Lean Six Sigma Certified and does the Minitab 17 DOE training for his team. He holds four degrees: an MS in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi; a BSc in Mathematics, a BSc in Polymers and Coatings and a BSc in General Biology, all from Eastern Michigan University.

John McClurken

John is currently the senior application, development and technical service (ADTS) chemist for the Carpet team, responsible for ADTS for U.S. carpet customers and the WACKER ACADEMIES in Dalton, Georgia. He joined WACKER in 1997 after spending 15 years at Reichold Chemicals and 7 years at Dow Chemicals. John holds a BS in Chemistry and a BS in Biology, both from Winthrop University.

Steve Patton

Steve is the technical manager responsible for supporting Personal Care customers in the NCA region. He started at WACKER in 2005, and has previously held the roles of chemist in the Home Care market segment, process chemist for silicone fluids and emulsions, and production supervisor for silicone rubber. Steve holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Andrew Pearson

Andrew, a chemist in the Construction Silicones business team, has been with WACKER since 2014. He is responsible for formulating new and existing products for use in the decorative coatings market, and for giving technical support to customers using WACKER products. Andrew holds a BS in Molecular Biology from Liberty University. Prior to working with WACKER, he was a quality assurance chemist at Chemtura / Great Lakes Chemical.

John Richards

John has spent 21 years at WACKER in various capacities. He started as the technical director of Textiles at Kelmar (a WACKER subsidiary). He has since completed roles as business team leader and senior technical manager. He is currently the senior technical manager of the Home Care and Textiles Teams responsible for product development, application development and market support for Home Care and Textiles customers. John holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.

Scott Richardson

Scott joined WACKER in 1991 after previously working for Aeroquip Corporation and Callaway Golf. He is currently the technical manager for Healthcare Elastomers. Scott holds an MBA from Baker College and a BS in Chemistry from Michigan State University. He joined WACKER as the section head Elastomer QA supervisor and has also worked as a senior chemist for the Sealants department and as a process engineer.

Norman Riley

Beginning his career with WACKER in 1984, Norm served in technical roles for companies such as WACKER, Applied Silicone, Rhodia, Inc. and Bluestar Silicones over the 31 years that followed. He rejoined WACKER in 2015 as a technical manager for Rubber Solutions, responsible for providing technical service and training to silicone rubber fabricators and end-users, as well as formulation and applications development for LSR and HCR. Norm attended California Lutheran University and holds a BA in Organic Chemistry.

Vashti Ruley

After working as an analytical chemist at Abbott Laboratories and as a process engineer at a vinyl company, Vashti joined WACKER in 2000. She is currently the manager of the WACKER ACADEMY for North America, but has held various positions at WACKER, including being a chemist, an InfoLine specialist and working for 10 years as a business development manager for Sales and Distribution. Vashti holds a Master of Sciences degree in Criminalistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a BSc in Biochemistry from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Tim Rummel

When he joined WACKER in 2012 as a technical manager for Release Coatings, Tim brought 13 years of market experience with him. He is responsible for providing broad technical support to all WACKER label and liner release coating customers in North and Central America and to develop innovative new products for new and existing markets. Tim holds an MBA from Wayne State University, as well as a BS in Paper Science and a BS in Chemistry, both from Western Michigan University.

George Tessier

George is the technical service manager for Wacker Chemical Corporation’s Construction Polymers Business Unit – Americas. George has been with WACKER since September 2009 and has more than 38 years of experience in the construction chemicals industry. George manages a team of chemists and technicians at the Allentown facility responsible for the technical support of WACKER POLYMERS customers throughout North America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Vermont. He came to WACKER from BASF, where he was the group leader for Cementitious Products & EIFS. Previously, he had been the R&D manager for Harris Specialty Chemicals / Thoro Systems.
