Instructors at the WACKER ACADEMY of India (Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru)
Sougata Bhattacharya joined WACKER in 2004 as an executive for R&D in the Textile department. He worked on developing emulsions for textile applications while also performing technical service duties. In his current role, he is in charge of technical services for textile, anti-foam products and release coatings for the Indian territory. Sougata has been involved in training activities for customers, distributors and WACKER colleagues during the last fourteen years. He became a WACKER ACADEMY trainer in 2016.
Kalon Chatterjee has been with WACKER since 2004, working in R&D and technical service roles. Having been involved in training customers, distributors and colleagues for over 8 years, he became a formal WACKER ACADEMY instructor in 2016. He holds a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Calcutta University, as well as an MBA from ICFAI University. He is currently responsible for projects involving global key accounts.
Vaibhavi Jogadia joined WACKER in 2018 as a technical service assistant in the Mumbai technical center. She had previously worked in a corporate quality assurance team at a pharmaceutical organization. She has been involved in training for construction applications from the start of her career at WACKER. She holds a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry.
Gokul Kumar M.
Gokul Kumar M. has been a technical service executive at WACKER since 2018. His activities are focused on engineering fabrics, coatings and VINNOL®, for which he conducts on-site and in-house training. He holds a master’s degree in Textile Technology.
Raghvendra Singh Pal
Raghvendra Singh Pal started at WACKER in 2013 as a technical manager for Elastomers and was the person responsible for India and South East Asia. He now heads the Elastomer business for India and the subcontinent. He has extensive knowledge in silicone elastomers for energy, automotive, healthcare, technical textile and various rubber applications. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Chemistry and an M.Tech degree in Plastics Engineering.
Dr. Priti Pillay
Priti Pillay joined WACKER in 2008. She is responsible for technical services, training, product development in the constrution polymer division.
Nibha Singh has been with WACKER since 2017, working as a technical service executive for the Adhesives, Solid Resins and Biopolymers market segments. In Adhesives, she is responsible for adhesive applications like paper packaging and wood adhesives; in Solid Resins, she focuses on applications such as low-profile additives for composites and industrial applications. She holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry and Paint Technology from UDCT, as well as an MBA from Welingkar.
