Adhesives HDK® Pyrogenic Silica for Rheology Control
USA (ADRIAN, ALLENTOWN, DALTON)
Learn to control the rheology of your formulated product with WACKER’s HDK®pyrogenic silica.
Basic knowledge of chemistry
- Definitions and basics of practical rheology
- The chemistry, structure and properties of fumed silica
- The use of WACKER’s HDK® pyrogenic (fumed) silica as a rheology modifier
- Hands-on training with viscosity measurement and the use of fumed silica
This seminar combines theoretical classroom training with hands-on experience to show the importance of rheology control in many formulated products such as coatings, adhesives and products for personal care. Flow and anti-settling properties, sag resistance and many product attributes defined by rheology control will be discussed.
Recommended for chemists and process engineers as well as others who need a better understanding of how WACKER’s DEHESIVE® silicone release coatings can provide optimum solutions for your release coatings.
