The 16-km long Alz canal in Burghausen (Germany) was renovated and sealed using polymer-modified sealing slurries to prevent water leakage.

Sealing slurries modified with VINNAPAS^® LL 4040 N are extremely flexible and elastic, as well as crack resistant and water repellent. These properties make them ideal for application in baths and pool/spa facilities, in basements or as coatings for pipes and sewers

Cementitious water proofing membranes containing VINNAPAS^® provide strong and long-term protection against water leakage or damage due to water penetration (left box), unlike conventional formulations (right box).

When applied under tile adhesives, sealing slurries modified with VINNAPAS^® protect walls and floors against moisture in damp rooms, such as baths and basements.
