2022 Qingdao International Water Expo: WACKER Presents a Series of Ready-To-Use Low-Solids Silicone Antifoaming Agents

The new PULPSIL^® 811E CN is a highly effective silicone antifoam emulsion featuring significant and long-lasting knock-down properties and excellent storage and dilution stability. As it only contains 10% solids, it is ready to use without diluting or compounding. PULPSIL^® 811E CN can be used to regulate and control foaming in the purification stages of industrial and municipal wastewater.

WACKER’s range of low-solids silicone antifoaming agents also includes SILFOAM^® SE 47 and PULPSIL^® 810E CN. SILFOAM^® SE 47 is a multi-purpose antifoaming agent with a low solids content of about 17%. With a low viscosity, it is easy to disperse in applications. SILFOAM^® SE 47 features good resistance to alkalis and acids and can be used in a wide range of areas in which pH is critical. Given excellent defoaming properties in foam-rich systems, the product finds application in various sectors, such as textiles, surfactant formulations, dispersions, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, cleaning agents and wastewater treatment.

PULPSIL^® 810E CN is a highly effective silicone antifoam emulsion featuring significant and long-lasting knock-down properties and excellent alkali resistance. With a solids content of only about 10%, it is ready to use without diluting or compounding. PULPSIL^® 810E CN finds application in pulp rinsing, screening and bleaching, as well as wastewater treatment.

WACKER^® SRE CN is a versatile silicone antifoam emulsion with 20% active ingredients and 33% solids. With a relatively low viscosity, it is easily dispersed and metered. Since WACKER^® SRE CN possesses high resistance to alkalis and acids, it can cope with a wide range of pH values in the environment, and finds application in various sectors, such as textiles, agricultural chemicals, detergents and petrochemicals.
