Primer for Silicone Rubber

Primer for silicone rubber serve as adhesion promoters between silicone elastomers and other substrates like metals, glass and thermoplasts. They are solvent based and contain a mixture of reactive silanes and siloxanes. Application of a silicone rubber onto the primed substrate and subsequent vulcanization will then result in a tight bond between the silicone rubber and the substrate.
