WACKER POLYMERS is a leading producer of state-of-the-art binders and polymeric additives based on polyvinyl acetate and vinyl acetate copolymers and terpolymers. These take the form of dispersible polymer powders, dispersions, solid resins, and solutions. They are used in construction chemicals, paints and surface coatings, adhesives, sealants, carpet applications and nonwovens, as well as in fiber composites and polymeric materials based on renewable resources. In 2020, the division accounted for some 27 percent of Group sales.
WACKER POLYMERS Implements a Temporary Surcharge for Dispersions, Resins and Dispersible Polymer Powders Globally

Effective April 1, 2021, WACKER POLYMERS will implement a surcharge for its complete product range, including dispersions, resins and dispersible polymer powders. The surcharge will be combined with the adjustments already announced earlier this year, resulting in an additional price increase, currently ranging from 110 to 400 EUR per ton, depending on region, product and sourcing location. It will be applied globally for all orders shipped and invoiced as of April 1. The measure is temporary and ensures a fair and reliable supply of products until the situation normalizes.
