WACKER RELIEF FUND: Good Progress Rebuilding Schools

WACKER has joined the ‘Familienpakt Bayern’ (‘Family Pact Bavaria’) network of the Bavarian state government and Bavarian Industry Association. In doing so, the chemical group has emphasized its goal of promoting a family-friendly corporate culture.

WACKER is Bavarian Responsible Care^® winner 2018. The Bavarian branch of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) has honored the company for its polysilicon, which makes renewable energy sources possible thanks to photovoltaic applications.

“Die Arche” (the Ark), a Munich-based charity for children and young people, celebrated a full dozen years of partnership with Wacker Chemie AG yesterday.

Wacker Chemie AG registered a total of 245 substances with the European Chemicals Agency in Helsinki by the end of May, the expiry date for the third and last registration phase of the EU’s REACH chemicals program.

At didacta 2018, the world’s largest education trade show, the Munich based chemical company WACKER presents the new website for its CHEM2DO^® experiment kit.

WACKER’s result has risen from 65 to 72 points. It now ranks among the top 3% of the highest-scoring companies.

Today, Johannes Hintersberger, Undersecretary at the Bavarian Ministry of Social Affairs, presented Wacker Chemie AG with the “Inclusion in Bavaria – We Work Together” emblem.
