Wacker Chemical Corporation’s Allentown operation is the headquarters for WACKER POLYMERS – AMERICAS. The 67,000 sq.ft. technical center features research and development laboratories, a WACKER ACADEMY, sales and marketing, technical and customer support services and administrative offices. WACKER POLYMERS is a leading producer of high-quality binders and polymer additives in the form of dispersible powders and dispersions for the construction coatings, adhesives, paints, plasters and engineered fabrics industries.
Dalton, Georgia
Our Technical Competence Center provides expert support and customer collaboration focused on VAE dispersions as carpet binders. WACKER POLYMERS opened the research and technical training facility in Dalton in 2013 to be close to carpet binder customers and provide them with technical expertise. Being nearby makes it easier for customers to work and innovate in the Tech. Center, directly testing its formulations with a variety of carpet and carpet backing. The Center also houses a WACKER ACADEMY providing customers with an ideal training environment and the most modern technology available.
