Mölnlycke Health Care Honors WACKER as Long-Term Supplier

At the ceremony in Gothenburg, Mölnlycke awarded suppliers in several categories. The company’s Long-Term Collaboration Award went to WACKER. Eric De Kesel, Executive Vice President of Operations at Mölnlycke, commended the chemical company’s outstanding product quality and its customer-oriented focus. “As a winner of the Supplier of the Year Award, WACKER is an example of how a good relationship has turned into a strategic partnership. The company has supplied us with high-grade products for years and its quality and customer focus have always been exceptional.”

WACKER has been supplying silicones to the Swedish wound-dressing manufacturer since the late 1990s. “The grades supplied by WACKER are vital to the performance of one of the most important and successful product ranges”, noted De Kesel during the award ceremony. He praised WACKER’s high degree of expertise and how the company contributes this to the development of innovative products. “We look forward to many more successful years together”, emphasized the Mölnlycke manager.

Christian Gimber, head of WACKER’s Engineering Silicones business unit, was deeply impressed by the award. “Mölnlycke is one of our key customers in the health care sector and has involved us in the development of new products”, he emphasized. “This award is an incentive for us to further expand our cooperation with Mölnlycke in the coming years.”

WACKER has been producing silicones for the medical and health industries for two decades. “Health care is a very promising growth market for us. That is why we have been continuously developing and enhancing our product range”, Gimber pointed out. All medical grades are dispensed and packaged in accordance with WACKER’s Clean Operations standard. “Our silicones for medical applications are highly pure and comply with the health care industry’s most stringent safety standards.”
